Chinese Translation Project Launched for Kronos Financial Candlestick Foundation Model

On November 7, 2026, DEV Community published an article covering Kronos, a decoder-only foundation model for financial candlestick (K-line) sequences, and the launch of a community-driven Chinese translation of the project. The original Kronos repository, shiyu-coder/Kronos, is written in Python and had gathered 47,035 stars on GitHub by the time the article appeared. A Chinese translation was released the same day under the yangshun2005/Kronos-cn repository; the author notes plainly that it had zero stars at the time of writing. According to the piece, Kronos was pretrained on data drawn from more than 45 exchanges worldwide and uses a two-stage architecture designed to address the noise inherent in financial time-series data.
