Weijie AI Map Drawing Launches with Editable AI Drafts and MCP Support

The product positions itself as an online mapping tool for drawing maps that cannot be found online: apartment floor plans, factory layouts, scenic-area guides, historical maps, fictional worlds, and even land spatial planning. A one-line prompt lets the AI draft a map on the canvas, and a CAD-level toolkit handles fine-tuning. CAD drawings, existing web maps, and AI reference images can all be used as base layers, and finished maps can be typeset for export, switched into 3D, or turned directly into map animations.

Every element the AI draws—each road, each building, each icon—is a named, grouped object with a defined z-order rather than a flat image. Edits sync into the editor in real time, and each write counts as a step, so Ctrl+Z undoes the AI's changes. After every write, the system runs a self-check tailored to the scene: whether text overlaps or exceeds its bounding region, whether rooms are properly enclosed by walls, whether doors and windows sit on walls, which rooms lack a door, whether attractions are too far from roads, whether the road network is broken, whether the layout is missing a legend, compass rose, or scale bar, and whether the coordinate system matches the base map. Problems are reported with suggested fixes, and the AI re-screenshots the result after correcting them. All 11 built-in sample maps score 100 on this check.
